Medium you work in? any special techniques?
Oil, Acrylic
No special techniques except using my usual free flow of brush strokes and matching colours attributed mainly from my sub-conscious mind – always in deep thought and deep emotion while doing my painting work. I planned my work before I start and I usually use bright colours to emphasize my expression and the interconnectivity of the subject matters. My Kampong experience has greatly influenced my artworks in term of theme and topic.
What you hope to accomplish with your art?
I hope my art could give some inspiration and encouragement to the people – that art can bring unity, happiness, joy, self-confidence and harmony regardless of its outcome, look and presentation. Art can be explored and be better understood with open mind and perception. Art is universal with unending journey to pursue for beauty and desired perfection. Every creation of artwork is a gift.
