Taman Jurong Community Art and Culture Club is calling for Artist for participatory visual arts projects for Taman Jurong neighbourhood, in 4^th-year open run.

A collaboration between National Arts Council and Taman Jurong Community Arts and Culture Club, Our Gallery at Taman Jurong seeks to engage Taman Jurong residents in visual arts projects facilitated by artists, promoting exchanges & fostering appreciation in the visual arts, culminating in collaborative artworks in green spaces within Taman Jurong.

Taman Jurong Community Arts & Culture Club (TJ CACC) and the National Arts Council (NAC) (jointly termed “Organisers”) collaboratively call for visual arts proposals for Our Gallery at Taman Jurong.
Proposals should be for visual arts projects (hereby acknowledged as the “Project” in this Open Call) that involve Taman Jurong residents in the art-making process, ranging from project conceptualisation to final execution.

The open call aims to: – garner creative ideas and appoint suitable artists to engage Taman Jurong residents in visual arts projects that are facilitated by the artists, – promote community-based arts and foster appreciation in the visual arts.

The appointed artists/art groups/collectives are to work closely with TJ CACC, TJ Residents’ Committee (TJ RCs) and residents in the art-making process, with the Project proposals implemented and featured in green spaces across the Taman Jurong neighbourhood between November 2017 to April 2018.

Visual artists are invited to submit proposals by Friday, 3 November 2017 to PA_TAMANJURONGCC@pa.gov.sg.
